The G.O. Dance
    At the beginning of the school year all high school students were issued a G.O. Card. The G.O. Card was like a School I.D. It got you into all school functions for free. All sporting events, plays, dances, anything... all were free, and not only at your school. You were admitted free into any function at any school. I was fifteen when I received my very first G.O. Card and I felt certain that I had now placed one foot in heaven.
