Previous Page Johnny Winchester at the foul line, in the WHS gym,1951.     I had just gotten a camera with flash bulbs, as a Christmas present, and my first inclination was to become a sports photographer. Foul shots promised to be the least difficult action shot so I readied my camera as my brother prepared to launch this shot.     You must have missed this one John because immediately after I snapped the picture, Mr. Morgan sent the student manager over to tell me, "No more flash bulbs when they're shooting fouls."     Thus, this slightly dim picture, ended my career as a foul shot photographer. ... from Previous Page Click to zoom in to larger photo |
