Chickie Heiblim says that this picture was taken on a school lunch hour, "when a few of us went for a ride. The year was 1949" That's Nelson "Mansy" Scheuermann and Harold "Schoie" Schofield hoisting Janet Paffenroth (Milt's sister).
Where was this taken? Doesn't that country road look familiar? But I can't place it.

I don't know about you but thinking back to a day such as this - chilly yet with a bright sun that promised a soon coming Spring to the Warwick Valley, .. a school day lunch hour, .. and we the upperclass school kids, kings and queens of the known world, ..piling into a car at noon time, riding around the country, taking pictures and laughing ..
