- "Brad was a dear friend to ever"


Bradford Piggery, of Warwick, passed away on July 2, 2011 in Buffalo, New York. He was 71 years old. Born on October 7, 1939 in Warwick, he was the son of the late William and Carolyn (Teabout) Piggery. Mr. Piggery served with the U. S. Air Force and was a District Representative with Congressman John Hall, Goshen. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Warwick. He was a news broadcaster for several radio stations in Middletown and Buffalo, NY, Texas, North Carolina and Anchorage, Alaska. At one time, he also had his own TV talk show called Straight Line in Buffalo, NY, where current events were discussed regarding the city of Buffalo with various politicians. He loved politics and later on in life he was a speech writer for several politicians, both Democrats and Republicans. He loved sports and enjoyed discussing them with his grandsons. Later in life, he enjoyed reading and discussing various Bible verses. He is survived by his daughter, Allison DeHonney of Buffalo, NY; his son, Robert Bradford Piggery of Ohio; three grandchildren: Richard DeHonney III, Jordan DeHonney and Jillian Piggery; a great-grandchild: Aryanna DeHonney; a sister, Isabel Graham of Warwick; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, July 8, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 50 South Street, Warwick, NY. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at the church, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery. Memorial donations in Bradford’s name may be made to American Cancer Society, 419 E.
