I would have advocated for seven Miss OCs on that September afternoon in 1958. Probably a judge or two made just such a suggestion, but was overruled by a narrow margin. Regardless, congrats to all, not only for beauty but for bravery. I can’t imagine any boy with courage enough to enter a Mr. OC contest. OK – yes - silly thought. I knew two of the entrants, Goshen girl, Julie Kruger, Kenny’s sister and Warwick gal Deanna. I have two questions: Do they still have these contests?
