David was a stellar athlete in all sports for Goshen High School. In the late 1950s Goshen had a banner crop of all-around athletes that, in addition to David, included Joey Johnson, Rob Latimer, Walt Mitton, Denny Brown, Rich Miller and others. Not sure of the county championships that they won, but do know this - they struck fear in the hearts and minds of their OCL opponents, myself included. RIP David.
