FLORINE J. FORESE (NEE SKUTNIK)
Naples, Fla. Florine J. Forese (nee Skutnik) died Thursday, January 23, 2003 at home. She was 65. Born in Pine Island, N.Y., she lived in Franklin Lakes, N.J., Paris, London and St. David's, Pa. before moving to Naples in 2002. Mrs. Forese received her B.A. in Education from Albany State Teachers College in 1958 and taught foreign languages for several years before becoming a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church, Wyckoff. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, James J. Forese of Naples; daughters, Dr. Laura L. Forese of Franklin Lakes, N.J. and Diane E. Forese of Los Altos, Calif.; sons, James A. Forese of New Canaan, Conn. and John T. Forese of Atherton, Calif.; her mother, Isabelle Skutnik and her sister, Diane Lutz, both of Williamsburg, Va.; brother, Floyd Skutnik of Coral Springs, Fla. and sister, Isabelle Lunden of Ballston Lakes, N.Y. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren. Visiting will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, February 7 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, N.J. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:45 a.m., Saturday, February 8 at St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, N.J. Interment will be at the Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105; American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack, NJ 07601; Make a Wish Foundation, 1034 Salem Road, Union, NJ 07083.
