That's Frank Strakowski, top row left, although I'm unsure of the spelling. He was a pole vaulter. Gentle giant. Actually, Barney Kunert may remember him better. And it's too bad no one ever thought to take pictures ofthe greatest fist fight in Warwick High history (my hyperbole). He and Bob Weidner, although friends, slugged it out from the old Warwick High down to Deming Park, and it was a fight of Quiet Man proportions. Barney, as I recall, ultimately won. Even sometimes pious and occasionally mischievous altar boys could fight.
