Minna Heiblim and Charlie Kittner. Charlie is obviously home on leave from the Navy. My guess is that it's the furlough immediately after boot camp.
I remember Charlie as a friendly lad and being around Cottage Street often when I was about four. Charley was likely in his late teens, and I think he lived out West street way. As I recall, when he played baseball with us he hit a lot of balls out of the yard. ... from

This comment from chickie heiblim-numark - I don't get to the computer very often, but today I was on and decided to see "what"s new" and lo and behold I saw my mom and Charlie Kittner. She died in 1998 and I miss her terribly. It was good to see Charlie again even if he's 50 or so years older today. (Aren't we all!!) Thanks for putting the picture in. You made my day!!! |
